We are seeking a highly skilled, detail-oriented, and motivated Cost Engineer to join our team for a full-time, on-site role based in Los Angeles, CA. The ideal candidate will play a key role in managing project costs, ensuring financial efficiency, and supporting successful project delivery through cost analysis, forecasting, and risk management. Key Responsibilities

Cost Management & Estimation: oversee all aspects of project cost management, including estimating, cost control, cost forecasting, investment appraisal, and risk analysis to ensure alignment with project goals. Develop accurate and comprehensive cost estimates, schedules, and budgets for projects, ensuring all financial aspects are clearly defined and tracked. Budget Planning & Monitoring: develop, implement, and monitor budget plans, ensuring an optimal balance between cost, quality, and time requirements. Track and manage project budgets to ensure that financial targets are met and any cost deviations are identified and addressed promptly. Collaboration & Communication: collaborate closely with project teams, including project managers, planners, and engineers, to ensure proper integration of cost, budget, schedule, and resource management. Engage in regular communication with key stakeholders to provide updates on financial status, potential risks, and recommended corrective actions. Risk & Resource Management: conduct thorough risk analysis and provide actionable recommendations to mitigate potential financial risks and project delays. Assist project managers in determining resource needs, supporting resource allocation decisions, and assessing project performance against financial objectives. Minimum Qualifications

Educational Requirements: Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Project Management, Business, or a related technical field is required. A Master’s degree is preferred but not mandatory. Certifications: Professional certifications such as PMP, PE, or other relevant equivalents are preferred. Cost Engineering Certifications (e.g., CCE, CCP) are highly preferred and demonstrate a commitment to the discipline. Experience: Junior (0-5 years): up to 5 years of direct experience in cost engineering, preferably within construction projects or similar industries. Mid (5-15 years): 5 to 15 years of experience in cost engineering with experience in managing complex construction projects. Senior (15+ years): 15+ years of extensive experience leading cost management across multiple projects and providing strategic cost analysis and forecasting for high-value projects. Compensation

The expected salary range for the position is $87,000 - $136,000, with final compensation based on individual qualifications and experience. The salary range is displayed in accordance with state law. Benefits
