Manufacturing Project Engineer
who’s ready to lead impactful projects that shape the future of our production operations.
The salary range for this position starts at $95,000 based on experience and qualifications. This is an on-site role at our Lake Zurich facility.

Duties/Responsibilities
Lead and assist in preparing project scopes, cost justifications, and capital expenditure requests for senior management approval.
Monitor and control project costs, quality, scope, and schedules to ensure on-time, on-budget delivery.
Evaluate process requirements, develop project schedules, track progress, and provide regular updates related to the installation of new equipment or improvement of existing production systems.
Lead the design, development, and implementation of automation solutions within ECHO’s manufacturing operations.
Train employees on new equipment and ensure effective communication across all levels of the organization.
Obtain competitive quotes for equipment and components, prepare evaluation documentation, and make recommendations based on analysis.
Collaborate with Manufacturing Engineers to identify, plan, and manage new projects.
Partner with the in-house automation team to maintain project timelines and deliverables.
Complete work assignments according to established schedules with minimal supervision.
Maintain organized records, effectively manage multiple concurrent projects, and document cost savings meeting or exceeding annual targets.
Job Experience/Skills
Proficient in SolidWorks and experienced in project management.
Strong understanding of assembly processes, PLCs, industrial sensors, pneumatic and hydraulic systems, robotics, electrical systems, and automation.
Working knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel, and Project.
Able to work independently with minimal supervision.
Physically capable of lifting up to 70 pounds and comfortable working in hands-on, mechanically oriented environments.
Education Bachelor's of Science degree in Manufacturing, Industrial, or Mechanical Engineering from a 4 year college or university.
