Construction Project Manager at Epstein Architecture, Engineering and Construction. Overview: The Construction Project Manager provides management direction and control of projects from concept design through completion and strives to meet client expectations. Ideal candidates will have knowledge of quality management principles, general engineering principles, and construction techniques. The candidate must effectively manage people and resources, oversee project quality, mentor staff, interact with clients, and collaborate with the Epstein team. Large industrial/manufacturing experience is required. Design-build experience is a plus. Candidates must be willing to periodically travel to construction locations throughout the United States. Oversee the successful management of construction projects. Provide leadership to the team regarding project goals, objectives and client expectations. Coordinate project requirements efficiently. Lead the team in cooperative efforts with other disciplines on projects. Review reporting systems and procedures; prepare reports to clients and senior management defining progress and cost. Promote and maintain client relationships. Develop subcontractors’ interest; review prequalification forms for bidder’s list preparation. Prepare packages for competitive bidding; receive, analyze and clarify bids; make award recommendations. Negotiate, award and administer subcontracts, purchase orders and change orders. Establish and monitor project costs and schedule. Perform job site inspections and project progress meetings. Receive, review and process vendor submittals; expedite delivery of materials and equipment. Prepare project status reports to inform and coordinate with client. Assemble, review and transmit project closeout information (as-builts, warranties) and provide warranty follow-up. Develop and implement site utilization plans and establish crew sizes. Ensure construction schedules are maintained by trade contractors. Develop, update and review project schedules, 3-week look ahead, daily reports, safety checklists; ensure adherence to company insurance policies. Provide leadership in developing safety culture on the project site. Coordinate interface between design and field construction. Prepare field documentation and reports (monthly, weekly and daily). Qualifications

Degree in Construction Management, Engineering or Architecture 7-10 years of construction project management experience on diverse projects Strong knowledge of construction engineering principles: materials, methods, sequencing, scheduling, and estimating Strong knowledge of construction industry laws, contracts, and accounting Understanding of insurance and related issues including liability and claims avoidance Ability to interpret construction documents Strong knowledge of field construction: systems, practices, safety and procedures Working knowledge of Procore and Microsoft Project Proficiency in Word, Excel, Outlook Strong interpersonal and communication skills Travel required (10%) Epstein offers a comprehensive benefits package and compensation.
