Manufacturing Project Engineer - Advanced Planning
This position involves managing capital projects, collaborating with various departments, and ensuring the implementation of modern technology in manufacturing facilities. The role requires a strong background in engineering or manufacturing, with experience in project management and specific manufacturing processes related to cast materials and induction hardening. Responsibilities include: Following NCI (New Capital Introduction) Process Flow and Gate Reviews. Collaborating with customer groups, facilities, maintenance, manufacturing operations, engineering, EHS, accounting, and purchasing. Managing multiple projects, developing facility project plans, and overseeing budgets and purchasing. Working with suppliers to plan and implement efficient, cost-effective systems and processes. Coordinating asset and system compatibility and guiding project teams for sustainable improvements. Implementing modern technology and verifying process modifications' effectiveness. Qualifications: Engineering or technical degree with relevant experience (4+ years in engineering or manufacturing, or 8+ years in relevant experience). Experience managing capital projects. Leadership skills and foundry process experience related to molding, core making, melting/holding furnaces, or casting cleaning. Skills and Experience: Manufacturing of cast materials, induction hardening, and process control documentation. Knowledge of engineering and manufacturing standards. Experience with New Capital Introduction and Gate Reviews.
