Overview
We’re looking for a
Quality Engineer
to support and improve quality systems within an aerospace manufacturing environment. This role ensures compliance with FAA, AS9100, and NADCAP standards while driving continuous improvement across engineering, supply chain, and production teams. Key Responsibilities
Maintain and enhance the Quality Management System (QMS). Conduct internal and external audits, including supplier audits. Apply root cause analysis (RCA) and corrective/preventive actions (CAPA). Develop and manage Program Quality Plans and APQP processes. Support New Product Introduction (NPI) with risk mitigation and process validation. Ensure compliance with AS9100, AS9145, and NADCAP standards. Contribute to Lean/Six Sigma continuous improvement initiatives. Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, or 6+ years of quality engineering experience. 2+ years of quality experience in a manufacturing environment. Strong knowledge of RCA, CAPA, and quality tools. Experience with inspection methods and technical drawings. Must be a U.S. Person under ITAR/EAR. Preferred
Aerospace manufacturing experience (metallics/composites). Familiarity with Lean tools (PFMEA, Fishbone, A3). Knowledge of APQP/AS9145. CQA or equivalent certification. What’s Offered
