Production Supervisor . This role involves overseeing production in a chemical manufacturing environment, requiring strong technical expertise in chemical processes and leadership skills to guide a team. The ideal candidate will hold a degree in chemical engineering and have experience bridging technical knowledge with operational management. This position offers growth into broader operational leadership. Job Description Key responsibilities include: Planning and implementing work schedules for a 24/5 operation. Communicating equipment, material, and process needs with management and maintenance. Making independent decisions within established procedures, following safety and change management protocols. Developing, training, and certifying team members. Participating in production scheduling meetings. Ensuring GMP compliance and maintaining documentation. Fostering a safe and quality-driven work environment. Leading team meetings and problem-solving efforts. Managing daily production activities to meet goals. Requirements Bachelor’s degree in Chemical Engineering or related field; 5-7 years in manufacturing, with 3+ in leadership. Proven leadership in a high-paced environment. Knowledge of Root Cause Analysis, Lean, Six Sigma. Familiarity with GMP, MOC, ECN, and chemical process requirements. Proficiency in Microsoft Office, SAP, barcode systems. Excellent communication skills. Ability to manage multiple projects and maintain accurate records. Preferred: Master’s degree in Chemical Engineering. Lean Six Sigma certification. Experience in microelectronics or chemical manufacturing industries. Physical and Additional Requirements Ability to wear a respirator and lift objects up to 50 lbs with or without mechanical assistance. Competency in workplace resilience, communication, reasoning, organization, and problem-solving.
