STV . Position Overview
STV is seeking a Full-Time Senior Civil Engineering Project Manager in Civil/Industrial Site Design for our Kentucky offices (Lexington, Louisville, Owensboro, Glasgow). The role involves client coordination, strong communication, and technical skills in managing projects from notice to proceed to final closeout, including plan development, scheduling, cost estimating, and administrative duties. The position also includes supervision and guidance related to project objectives, critical issues, and policy matters. Responsibilities and Duties
Ensure successful completion of assigned engineering projects using extensive engineering knowledge in Civil and Industrial Site Design. Independently resolve civil engineering problems, represent the company in client meetings, and coordinate project work. Plan, develop, coordinate, and oversee project completion. Maintain primary client contacts, prepare schedules, and ensure projects meet deadlines and budgets. Determine staffing needs, hire, train, manage, and motivate personnel. Establish quality standards, review and approve plans, and secure necessary permits and approvals. Participate in new business development and prepare technical proposals. Manage invoicing, payments, and collection of receivables for projects. Supervise Engineers and Technicians as needed, collaborating with other managers and staff to achieve company goals. Qualifications and Skills
Bachelor's in Civil Engineering PE licensure in KY Minimum of 8 years' related experience Strong oral and written communication skills Ability to assist in fieldwork and work outside in various weather conditions, including physical activities like squatting, kneeling, climbing, and walking. Preferred Qualifications
Experience with MicroStation and/or AutoCAD Familiarity with OpenSite, SiteOpps, or Civil3D Compensation Range
