Job Description
As a Piping Designer at Tessenderlo Kerley, you will play an essential role in the design and development of complex piping systems for our company. As a member of the Project Services team, reporting to the Design Manager, you will be responsible for preparing piping and mechanical equipment layouts in accordance with process and instrumentation diagrams, engineering specifications, and industry standards. This role offers opportunities for professional growth and the chance to impact the design of new and existing facilities. Key Responsibilities: Create 3D models of area equipment and piping based on project specifications and standards. Develop construction and fabrication drawings from models, including equipment details, piping isometrics, plans, sections, and detailed drawings. Maintain updated drawings and models with the latest P&ID revisions. Generate bills of materials for fabrication and installation of equipment and piping. Assist with project tracking and documentation. Qualifications: Minimum 3-5 years of design/drafting experience. Knowledge of fabrication and construction practices in accordance with industry standards. Proficiency in AutoCAD and Cadworx Plant Professional software.
