With eighteen premier data centers located in six metropolitan markets, Netrality continues to acquire strategic network interconnection data centers and develop Meet Me Rooms (MMRs) and wholesale data center space within those properties to offer the highest quality and most robust direct network interconnections in the market.
Who We Need
Netrality has an exciting opportunity for a
Construction Project Manager
to be part of our expansion and capital improvement projects. The successful candidate will have strong project management experience, a good understanding of critical building systems, and general building operations. Experience in data center or critical facility builds is preferred. This role may involve projects across our portfolio in Philadelphia, PA; Kansas City, MO; St. Louis, MO; Houston, TX; Chicago, IL; and Indianapolis, IN, with up to 50% travel.
Description of Responsibilities
Oversee construction projects within the Netrality portfolio from start to finish
Support project budgeting and cost estimating
Resolve issues with subcontractors, engineers, architects, and other contributors
Conduct and document project meetings
Review and approve payment applications and closeout documents
Ensure compliance with safety regulations and building codes
Evaluate and communicate project risks and remediation strategies
Collaborate with project team members and stakeholders
Ensure project deadlines are met and progress is reported
Address environmental or community issues during projects
Monitor site progress and quality standards
Maintain professional relations with contractors and tenants
Stay updated on construction technology and best practices
Participate in additional projects as needed
Position Requirements and Skills
Bachelor’s degree in construction management, architecture, or related field (preferred)
Experience in data center or telecommunications industries is a plus
7+ years of construction management experience (preferred)
Knowledge of construction processes, rules, and standards
Ability to interpret blueprints and use management software (e.g., Procore, BIM, Primavera)
Strong communication, problem-solving, and project management skills
High ethical standards and professionalism
