An American electric vehicle manufacturing company is actively looking for a self-motivated
Automotive
Technician
to join their team. This is a
5-month CT role
with potential for extension or conversion. It is
100% onsite
at their
Fort Wayne, Indiana
location and it is
Monday-Thursday 7pm-6am shift .

As a Field Service Technician, you will be responsible for providing on-site/off-site service, diagnosis, repairs, and installations for Rivian vehicles and related equipment.
Required Skills & Experience
Proficient in using hand tools and power tools
Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record
Experience with work order management systems, including repair documentation
Physical ability to perform tasks such as sitting, standing, walking, bending, kneeling, carrying, reaching, pushing, pulling, and lifting up to 50 lbs.
Minimum age of 21
No recent driving suspensions or license revocations (within 3-5 years)
Fluent in English (reading and speaking)
MVR required
Daily Responsibilities
Assist in daily operations, including shuttling vehicles between delivery stations
Conduct pre-delivery inspections on new vehicles using documented processes and checklists
Document inspection results and communicate findings to team members/supervisors
Follow Rivian repair procedures efficiently, maintaining quality and safety
Perform diagnosis, repairs, installations, and inspections on vehicles
Support vehicle repairs outside of a service center setting
Conduct road tests to ensure repair quality
Manage parts operations, including ordering, receiving, shipping, and inventory
Maintain accurate expense reporting
Applicants must be authorized to work in the US on a full-time basis now and in the future.
