Electrical Engineer with 3 to 8 years of experience . This is a
full-time position
for a motivated individual who is licensed or plans to acquire a professional engineering license. We seek someone who thrives in the fast-paced environment of commercial projects and values collaboration with talented professionals dedicated to delivering excellent client experiences. Requirements + Responsibilities: Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or Architectural Engineering with an electrical emphasis Experience with 3D modeling, Revit preferred; proficiency in Microsoft Word and Excel desired Strong interpersonal and collaboration skills Effective communication skills, both oral and written Design of building systems including power distribution, LED and custom lighting, Life Safety Systems, and data/communications Work across diverse markets such as Industrial, Institutional, Commercial, Education, Government, and Healthcare Assist in design and documentation efforts under the guidance of a senior engineer using Revit Visit project sites for measuring, data collection, and observation Manage time and workload effectively with attention to detail Additional Requirements: Experience or interest in designing lighting, power, and low-voltage systems Graduation from an accredited Electrical Engineering program Experience with Revit is preferred; willingness to learn Autodesk Revit required Have passed or plan to take the Fundamentals of Engineering (FE) exam Why Join Shive-Hattery?
