We have been in constant growth for over a decade and are now seeking to add a Multi-Family Construction Estimator/Project Manager to our team. Role Description

This is a full-time role for a Multi-Family Construction Estimator at Wesco Exteriors, Inc., located in Jamestown, NC. The Estimator will be responsible for preparing detailed cost estimates for multi-family construction projects, performing quantity take-offs, managing project costs, and developing project budgets. The Estimator will also collaborate with project managers and the construction team to ensure accuracy and efficiency in all estimating processes. This role focuses on preparing accurate and competitive estimates for multi-family and light commercial interior and exterior construction projects, including siding, roofing, gutters, windows, doors, various capital projects as well as interior renovations. The Estimator will analyze plans, specifications, and job site conditions to deliver comprehensive cost proposals and support project planning and execution. Candidate must have a valid NC Driver\'s License with good driving record, be able to pass a criminal background check and drug screening, and have favorable references. Responsibilities

Estimation of projects via use of programs including Xactimate and PlanSwift with ability to deliver completed project within budget. Adjust estimates based on scope changes, unforeseen conditions, or client requests. Proficient in reviewing and understanding drawings, identify potential missing/mislabeled material. Rectify based on industry standard and/or code and recommend change orders prior to start of job. Review project blueprints, specifications, and scope documents to prepare detailed cost estimates. Conduct on-site evaluations and take-offs for measurements related to siding, roofing, gutters, windows, doors, and other assigned projects. Manage construction contract drafts, obtain necessary permits, and maintain necessary records. Collaborate with sales, project management, and field teams to ensure accurate and timely estimates. Source and maintain up-to-date pricing from vendors, subcontractors, and material suppliers. Analyze labor, material, equipment, and time requirements to estimate costs. Uphold company standards and foster communication to guarantee that client needs are efficiently met. Submit client requested project change orders within a timely manner. Work under deadlines in a fast-paced environment and coordinate multiple facets of the building process including working with engineers, architects, and vendors. Ensure compliance with local building codes, regulations, and safety standards. Qualifications

At least 5 years experience in multifamily construction estimating and quantity take-offs Experience in cost management and budgeting Strong communication skills Attention to detail and problem-solving abilities Proficiency in using construction estimation software including PlanSwift Bachelor\'s degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, or related field
