Civil (Design) Engineer (Data Centers)
Join Jacobs as a Civil Engineer in our Advanced Manufacturing group. Your role will focus on designing and delivering state‑of‑the‑art industrial and commercial facilities, managing schedules and technical quality, and collaborating on multi‑disciplinary teams.
Base pay range $85,000.00/yr - $111,525.00/yr

Key responsibilities
Site development, master planning, and site selection.
Underground utility routing and site space planning.
Hydrology analysis for storm drain system design.
Designing and analyzing gravitational wastewater systems.
Preparing final grading plans with cut and fill analysis and earthwork balancing.
Providing erosion and sediment control plans, stormwater pollution prevention plans, and support for permit approval.
Researching and applying local Authority Having Jurisdiction (AHJ) requirements for design and construction.
Stormwater analysis and modeling using software such as StormCAD and CivilStorm.
Required qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering.
At least 8 years of engineering experience with extensive project experience.
Strong knowledge in designing industrial developments.
Experience with all AutoCAD Civil 3D modules.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Strong analytical, problem‑solving, and interpersonal skills.
Ability to collaborate effectively in multi‑disciplinary teams and learn quickly.
Preferred qualifications
PE certification.
Experience with Bluebeam.
Experience using Navisworks.
