$23.00/hr - $24.00/hr Work Specifications – Responsibilities
Responsible for food safety, product quality, and following all safety procedures. Safely guide milk trucks into receiving bays and operate doors, ramps, and chocks. Receive, handle, and sample milk according to state and company procedures. Read and apply the State Sampling Procedure Handbook. Understand basic lab terminology (e.g., DMC, antibiotics, butterfat, cryo). Clean and sanitize trucks, tankers, silos, and transfer lines using CIP systems. Perform and document chemical titrations and ensure wash tags/seals are properly used. Complete all receiving paperwork and ensure accurate, legible documentation. Know how to fill out Receiving Sheet and Truck Schedules accurately. Verify producer numbers and communicate any discrepancies. Use computer systems including Microsoft Word, Excel, and Wonderware for reporting. Follow Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) for all assigned tasks. All other duties as assigned. Minimum High School diploma or equivalent Equipment/Training Knowledge
Dairy/Food manufacturing background preferred but not required NYS Milk Receivers License Schedule
6:00 pm - 6:30 am Rate of Pay
