Program structure and location
The program places participants at a single manufacturing plant for 18 months, with quarterly travel to other Saint-Gobain manufacturing sites in North America. Time split: 80% local site projects and 20% EOM program activities. Start dates vary, but activities kickoff each year in July and end 18 months later in December of the following year. Upon completion, EOM Engineers work with Human Resources to find an operational role at one of Saint-Gobain\'s nearly 160 sites in North America. Final placement is not guaranteed, but most graduates have multiple placement options. Job Responsibilities
Provide engineering support for site process improvements. Support capital expenditure projects and new equipment installations. Support safety and sustainability initiatives at the plant. Implement new automation processes at the site. Analyze existing manufacturing processes to identify bottlenecks, inefficiencies, and opportunities for cost reduction and quality improvement. Qualifications
B.S. in an engineering discipline (Industrial). Internship experience in manufacturing or a professional setting is a plus. Valid passport required for international travel to Canada. Candidate expectations
