Overview

Our Client, an AV Manufacturing company, is looking for an Engineering Technician for their Foster City, CA location. Responsibilities

Support the cross functional teams (EE, Powertrain, Body, Chassis) with technician tasks Fabricate and Assemble test fixtures and wiring harness as necessary supporting the cross-functional teams Sustain the Client Mechatronics lab (Inventory, Equipment Check in / Check out, Logistic, Safety walks, lab purge, lab expansion) Execute key test activities accurately and thoroughly Install test instrumentation on test articles per instrumentation diagrams Manufacture PCBAs, sold electrical components, and build electric circuits to support in-Circuit Testing and Functional Testing using schematics and standard bench test equipment Performs troubleshooting and failure analysis on defective PCBAs or Vehicle components coming from Component Reliability Testing Support automation engineers to build ad-hoc automated test equipment (PCBAs, wiring harness, interfaces, enclosures) and to develop new data acquisition systems Support procurement and calibration of test equipment as necessary Maintains, repairs, install and troubleshoot Electrical equipment Fabricate and Assemble test fixtures and wiring harness as necessary supporting the cross-functional teams Maintain workshop space to a high professional level in terms of safety, efficiency, and cleanliness Requirements

Ability to plan and organize work without oversight or direction Bachelors or technical degree 4-6 years of lab experience Mechanical fabrication experience (wiring harness and test fixtures) Soldering Skills (i.e. Thermocouples or Electronic components on PCBA) Hands-on experience with electronic products rework Experience working with automotive development environments Experience working with test equipment (Signal Generator, Voltage Supplies, AC Amplifiers) Familiarity with python script Knowledge of MS Office Experienced Python user Knowledge of PEAK Explorer, Vector CANalyzer, or other programming languages & Tools Experience with HV components testing Why Should You Apply?
