Electrical Engineering, Tenured or Tenure-track faculty Position at the University of Notre Dame. The Department of Electrical Engineering invites applications for tenure-stream and Tenured or Tenure-track faculty positions in all areas of Electrical Engineering, at all levels, with emphasis on mathematical foundations of learning-enabled systems, autonomous decision and control, communications, information theory, signal and/or image processing. All areas will be considered, with particular encouragement for candidates who complement strengths in electronics, circuits, and systems. Competitive candidates will have systems-level experience in one or more of the following: electrical power systems, biomedical/health-related systems, IoT-enabled manufacturing, smart city or smart agriculture applications, remote sensing, autonomous vehicles or vehicular networks, wireless systems and networks. The department offers Ph.D., MS, and undergraduate degrees.
The University of Notre Dame is situated in South Bend, Indiana, near Chicago and the Lake Michigan shoreline. This appointment is contingent upon the successful completion of a background check. Applicants should provide materials as described in the application instructions. Responsibilities
Excel in classroom teaching and lead highly visible research projects that attract substantial external funding. Advise graduate students and contribute to service to the profession and the University. Engage in research aligned with the department’s strengths in electronics, circuits, and systems, and contribute to the broader electrical engineering community. Qualifications
