The Field Service Technician role involves extensive travel to various locations across multiple states. Responsibilities include providing technical support to customers on-site as the primary focus and via telephone/computer as a secondary method. Tasks encompass installation, demonstrations, qualification, troubleshooting, repair, and modification of equipment, leveraging expertise across multiple product lines. While primarily based at customer sites, occasional office-based duties involve phone support and administrative tasks like managing support cases, creating service reports, and documenting expenses. Roles / Responsibilities

Execute startup, repair, and preventive maintenance services at customer sites Utilize troubleshooting techniques to identify and resolve issues during repairs, startups, and assessments Coordinate travel to and from job sites, occasionally including international locations Maintain thorough documentation of all actions and expenses, including service reports, expense reports, and product alterations Offer technical telephone support for customers, Sales, and fellow Field Service Technicians; Conduct research to find solutions to problems Conduct training sessions for customers on equipment operation and maintenance at plant-floor level Uphold service ethics related to safety, demeanor, appearance, communication, and quality of work Qualifications

Preferred Associate degree in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering Technology (or related field) or a minimum of five (5)+ years of experience with industrial equipment Strong verbal and written communication skills Ability to analyze and interpret mechanical and electrical drawings, as well as software code Familiarity with microprocessor controls and programs Excellent interpersonal skills and a commitment to delivering high-quality customer service Proficient in organization, prioritization, and multitasking Capable of assessing situations and responding in the customer's best interest Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, SAP, CRM, and AutoCAD Jobot is an Equal Opportunity Employer.
