Are you a remote Architectural Project Manager with Revit and retail design experience? We are a nationwide commercial architectural firm seeking a candidate to grow with our team. Responsibilities
Manage multiple concurrent projects from inception through completion Ensure assignments are completed accurately and on time Follow and communicate clear instructions from supervision; mentor project team members Maintain organization and knowledge for future use Solicit feedback and act on it to improve self and team Adapt to varying situations; be receptive to new ideas Adhere to design standards; collaborate with clients professionally Coordinate construction drawings for bid, permit, and client review; manage revisions Prepare submittal packages for permitting agencies Coordinate with outside consultants (civil, structural, mechanical, electrical, plumbing) and client vendors Assist in client billing and monitor project profitability Manage daily activities for Project Associates and Interns Oversee project construction administration and client updates Schedule site surveys, prepare survey reports, and attend municipal planning/ zoning meetings Prepare/ review response letters to address comments from outside drawing reviews Ensure ADA compliance and code analysis documentation as required Qualifications
Professional Retail or Restaurant experience Professional degree in Architecture Architectural licensure preferred LEED accreditation preferable Proficient in Revit and/or AutoCAD Basic experience with rendering software Excellent oral and written communication and customer service skills What you’ll be doing for the Project Manager Role
Responsible for managing multiple concurrent projects Reliable, completes assignments, and meets deadlines with accuracy and completeness Follow and gives clear instructions and takes direction from supervisor Well organized; retain knowledge for future use Solicit feedback and act on it; improve self and team Adjust to a variety of situations; receptive to new ideas Adhere to design standards; work well in a collaborative environment Communicate with clients professionally Mentor and train project team members Manage preparation and quality control of construction drawings for bid, permit, and client review; coordinate revisions Manage and prepare submittal packages to permitting agencies Manage outside project consultants and client vendors Assist in client billing and monitor project profitability Manage daily activities for Project Associates and Interns Manage project construction administration and client updates Attend site surveys and prepare survey reports Schedule staff for project needs and deadlines; communicate with client Prepare/review response letters and address comments from outside drawing reviews Attend municipal planning and zoning meetings and post-construction compliance site visits/punch lists Perform/review code analysis documents and ADA compliance Location and compensation highlights
