Mead & Hunt, a nationally recognized professional services consulting firm, is seeking an Experienced Project Manager to join our collaborative and innovative Aviation team.
Responsibilities
Serving as the project manager for aviation projects
Leading and performing aviation civil engineering tasks
Preparing reports, budgets, cost estimates, specifications, plans, schedules, studies, and permits
Leading proactive client interactions and communications with regards to FAA programming, and state and government agencies
Performing QA/QC tasks
Supporting onsite during construction as the Engineer of Record, providing construction management/construction administration management to resident engineering teams.
Travel within the FAA Northwest Mountain Region is required (approximately 20% of time)
A valid driver's license and good driving record is preferred. A background check may be required.
Qualifications
A bachelor's degree in civil engineering or related field from an accredited college or university AND at least eighteen (18) years of relevant experience
PE required
Preferred Qualifications
Experience leading complex aviation design and construction projects
Airport design experience at medium or large hub airports
Experience serving as the project manager on aviation projects
PMP certification
Experience mentoring and leading engineering project teams
Construction management experience
Minium two years' experience at a project manager level
Licensed civil engineer in Washington, Oregon, or Colorado (or has the ability to obtain state specific license through NCEES)
Proficient AutoCAD Civil 3D skill set
