Key Responsibilities
Assist supervisor in coordinating daily production and solving problems related to chair assembly from the Config Area.
Serve as a resource for each operator in the Config Department.
Direct the production workflow within the department and ensure a consistent level of productivity.
Forecast and schedule chair demand for must ship purposes.
Address product/production process deviations.
Answer operator questions related to product assembly and work orders.
Assist supervisor in adhering to quality goals and systems.
Fulfill assembly duties as a Config operator when additional production capacity is needed.
Other duties as assigned.
Qualifications
High school diploma education level or equivalent.
Preferred: 3 years of experience in assembly of powered wheelchairs.
Preferred: technical experience and knowledge of assembly of all Permobil chair models.
Proven ability to effectively interact and communicate with people to foster a productive team.
Be one that is viewed as leading by example.
Good attendance is a must.
