Senior Project Manager , you will have a chance to be a leader in improving the water and wastewater infrastructure. You will lead all aspects of projects with high degrees of technical complexity from the concept stage through detailed design, construction services, and commissioning. You will assist with business development, establish and maintain strong client relationships, and lead project teams. In this role you’ll Deliver projects across Alaska, including conveyance, storage, water treatment, wastewater treatment, and planning. Provide leadership and coordination to multi-discipline delivery teams. Manage and/or lead projects in accordance with the contract requirements and Jacobs’ business processes. Support the development of strategies and tactics related to key client programs, projects and overall portfolios. Work with business development and sales staff in their efforts to position for new opportunities and/or the preparation of proposals. Promote a culture of caring, quality, safety, and inclusion and diversity Coach, develop, and mentor staff to deliver superior results collectively and individually Here's what you'll need Bachelor’s degree or higher in Engineering (Civil, Environmental or Mechanical preferred) Minimum 15 years in the industry with directly applicable project management experience Professional Engineer license (P.E.) (or ability to obtain within 1 year) Proven experience managing and designing small to large water planning and infrastructure projects Demonstrated aptitude, ability, and capacity to build and support a team Strong communication, planning, and organizational skills Ideally, here’s what you’ll also have Project Management Professional (PMP) certification by the Project Management Institute (PMI) or demonstrated commensurate project management experience and skills A strong network with local municipalities or other water/wastewater clients Our benefits Our health and welfare benefits are designed to invest in you, and in the things you care about.
