Department information The CDSS mission is to serve, protect, and support the people of California experiencing need, and to empower wellbeing while disrupting systemic inequities. The Child Care and Development Division (CCDD) oversees state-supported child care programs and services, with a focus on equity and accessibility.
Job Description And Duties Under the direction of the Staff Services Manager I (SSM I) of the Program Integrity & Improvement Section, Unit C (PII-C), within the Program Quality & Improvement Branch (PQIB), the Associate Governmental Program Analyst will independently provide support for local program administration. This position provides monitoring and analytical services in support of this function and requires extensive travel.

Explain knowledge of early childhood education state systems for subsidized child care and development programs, including understanding of state and federal laws, regulations, and requirements.
Identify any travel concerns or challenges since this position requires extensive travel.
