Additionally, the successful candidate will possess a background in manufacturing or industrial operations and possess the ability to lead a team while ensuring continuous process enhancements. This opportunity offers significant growth potential with an industry leader. Responsibilities: Responsibilities for the Assistant Plant Manager will include overseeing plant operations, production schedules, and collaborating with supervisors and site staff. Assisting with managing raw material and packaging inventory while partnering with procurement and the supply chain. Implementing process improvements to enhance productivity and plant performance metrics. Coordinating warehouse operations and communicating with staff to ensure workplace safety procedures and compliance with OSHA, EPA, and other regulatory requirements. Preparing production reports on operational efficiency for senior management, and participating in hiring, training, and performance management of plant employees. Act as Plant Manager as needed and making key related operational decisions Participating in special projects as needed. Requirements: Bachelor’s degree in Manufacturing, Industrial Engineering, Production Planning, or related field preferred. 3-8 plus years of experience in manufacturing, plant, or facility operations. Ability to work on-site in a manufacturing environment. Knowledge of manufacturing processes, quality assurance standards, safety protocols, and Ability to train and supervise teams. Seniority level
