We are looking for a highly motivated, experienced, and dynamic Traveling Superintendent to join our team in the commercial construction industry. This role is for those who have a passion for construction, a keen eye for detail, and a love for traveling. If you have experience in ground-up commercial, retail, and restaurant construction, this could be your opportunity to combine your professional skills with your love of adventure. Responsibilities
As a Traveling Superintendent, you will be at the forefront of our commercial construction projects, ensuring that each project is completed to the highest standard. Your responsibilities will include: Overseeing all stages of project life cycle and managing construction activities. Coordinating with project managers, architects, and engineers to ensure project objectives are met. Ensuring compliance with building codes, safety regulations, and other legal requirements. Supervising and leading construction personnel and subcontractors. Managing project schedule to ensure timely completion of construction. Conducting quality control inspections to ensure adherence to project specifications. Coordinating with clients and stakeholders to ensure satisfaction and manage expectations. Traveling to various project sites as required. Qualifications
The ideal candidate for the Traveling Superintendent role should be an experienced professional with a deep understanding of the construction industry. The following qualifications are required: Minimum of 5 years of experience as a superintendent in the commercial construction industry. Proven experience with ground-up commercial, retail, or restaurant construction. Knowledge of construction methods, materials, and legal regulations. Strong leadership and personnel management skills. Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written. Ability to travel extensively and adapt to different project environments. Proficient in using construction management software and technology. Experience in quick serve finishes is a plus. A valid driver's license is required.
