Overview
The Department of Rural Health - Area Health Education Center within the Office of Medical Education is pleased to announce the opening of a position for a Senior Program/Project Support Coordinator. This position is primarily responsible to coordinate support functions for academic program(s) or project(s) to ensure that goals and objectives specified for the program are accomplished in accordance with established priorities, time limitations, funding limitations or other specifications.
Responsibilities
Coordinate the Rural Scholars Elective Program for fourth year Rural Scholars.
Prepare and send block schedules and reminders for third year and fourth year Rural Scholars.
Serve as site Liaison for West Plains, Branson, Osage Beach, and Bolivar training sites.
Coordinate logistics and troubleshoot issues for Rural Scholars Students rotating at assigned rural training sites.
Assist with the development and maintenance of Rural Scholars training sites to include ongoing recruitment of community-based faculty and coordination of faculty development activities.
Assist in the coordination of the Rural Scholars Clerkship Program.
Ensure quality student education and training through the development and maintenance of relationships with Rural Scholars students, Rural Scholars Medical Directors, rural hospital administrators, hospital-based coordinators, community-based faculty, regional AHEC staff, and other key community partners and stakeholders.
Assist with the development of the Pre-Medical Rural Education Program (PREP) and other grant related projects as assigned.
Manage online CBF session coordination.
Shift 8am - 5pm, Monday - Friday
Minimum Qualifications A Bachelor's degree or an equivalent combination of education and experience and 3 years of experience from which comparable knowledge and skills can be acquired is necessary.
Anticipated Hiring Range Salary Range: $52,915.20 - $73,000 Annually
