Here in Tewksbury, Massachusetts, we are seeking an experienced and strategic Business Development Specialist, Lead. This pivotal role is responsible for driving growth initiatives, identifying and capturing high-value business opportunities, and leading complex proposal efforts. The successful candidate will strengthen strategic partnerships, advance pipeline development, and contribute to achieving our corporate growth objectives.

Your Challenge

Identify & Pursue Opportunities (20%) – Lead the identification, assessment, and pursuit of new business opportunities in alignment with company goals and long-term growth strategies. Strategic Relationship Management (20%) – Cultivate and maintain trusted relationships with senior-level stakeholders within key industry partners and clients. Proposal Leadership (20%) – Serve as capture lead for complex, high-value bids, working closely with technical, pricing, and contracts teams to develop competitive, compelling proposals. Market & Competitive Analysis (20%) – Analyze industry trends, customer budgets, procurement forecasts, and competitor activities to inform strategic decisions. Provide recommendations to senior leadership on positioning, investments, and partnerships. Pipeline & Growth Planning (20%) – Contribute to long-term business development planning and pipeline forecasting, ensuring alignment with divisional and corporate growth objectives.

What You Bring

Extensive experience in business development, capture management, or strategic sales, preferably in complex or technical industries. Demonstrated success leading high-value capture efforts from opportunity identification through award. Strategic thinker with a strong focus on execution and measurable results. Outstanding communication, presentation, and negotiation skills with the ability to engage senior stakeholders. Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Engineering, or related field (advanced degree preferred).
