The Senior Quality Manager is responsible for leading and maintaining all aspects of the quality management system, ensuring alignment with organizational goals and customer requirements. This role combines strategic oversight of quality processes and documentation with a direct, tactical approach to resolving product and process issues both internally and at suppliers. Responsibilities

Leads the development of all OTR global quality processes and associated documentation. Schedules and facilitates all internal, external, supplier and customer audits. Consolidates global processes and associated documentation. Develops and implements risk mitigation plans and recommends process improvements to enhance product quality and reliability, reducing the potential for customer zero miles and warranty complaints. Facilitates root cause analysis workshops with OTR subject matter experts both internally and at suppliers to rapidly resolve open issues. Ensures incoming materials meet required quality standards. Responsible for identifying and raising quality issues and for speedily resolving them to ensure zero impact to the customer. Supports new product introductions to ensure the robustness of product builds. Establishes short-term and long-term quality goals for global teams including objectives, and initiatives to drive continuous improvement and customer satisfaction throughout the organization. Manages the quality budget effectively, allocating resources to meet program objectives. Works with internal and external stakeholders to resolve quality issues that arise as quickly and efficiently as possible to prevent compromising quality and safety standards. Ensures control plans and associated documentation are implemented effectively and maintained. Monitors and reports on quality-related key performance indicators including scrap monitoring, rework levels, parts per million (PPM) figures. Stop production in the event of manufacture of unacceptable goods/processes. Collaborates with supply chain and procurement teams to ensure suppliers and vendors meet our quality standards and specifications. Establishes and reports key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure the effectiveness of quality programs and initiatives. Facilitates the creation of FMEAs (design, manufacturing & process) Develops and delivers quality training programs for employees, suppliers, and partners. Establishes mechanisms to collect and analyze customer feedback to identify areas for quality improvement. Visits customers and vendors to ensure open lines of communication and comprehension of issues and requirements. Other duties can be assigned based on company needs and employee capabilities. This position will oversee personnel employed in the Quality department and will serve as a coach/mentor for facility managers and their staff across all regions. The role will oversee directly and indirectly quality leaders across several regions. Work Environment

This position operates in a professional office environment. This role routinely uses standard office equipment such as computers, phones, photocopiers, and filing cabinets. At times, an employee might be exposed to manufacturing environment, including forklift traffic, fumes, noise, and operating manufacturing equipment. Physical Demands

Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer. Must be able to lift up to 15 pounds at times. Position Type and Hours

This is a full-time position. Days and hours of work are Monday through Friday, 8:00AM to 5:00PM. In order to meet our customer demands and internal objectives, at times this role will be required to work outside of the normal schedule, including weekends. Travel

Travel is expected for this function. Travel will be national and international due to audits, visits, training initiatives, launching of projects, or other items related to QA /QMS initiatives. Required Education and Experience

Bachelor’s Degree in Quality Management, Engineering, or comparable field of study. Minimum 10 years of experience in QA/QC/QMS Leadership, with a proven history of global program management. Excellent knowledge of global QA/QC/QMS regulations and standards, including ISO 9001, IATF 16949, APQP, PPAP, and Quality core tools. Strong leadership and communication skills with the ability to engage and influence stakeholders at all levels. Demonstrated experience and expertise in implementing and maintaining quality management systems. In-depth knowledge of applicable Quality Standards (ISO, IATF) along with legal and regulatory requirements, and experience exceeding compliance standards. Strong problem-solving and project management skills. Knowledge of manufacturing operations. Preferred Education and Experience

Masters Degree in related field. Certified Quality Manager (CQM) Other Duties
