Monarch Landscape Companies’ Sustainable Solutions Group (SSG) provides innovative solutions for habitat restoration, invasive plant management, native space rehabilitation, and tree/shrub health care across the Pacific Northwest. We are seeking a skilled and motivated Habitat Restoration Specialist II to join our team. Responsibilities
Lead field crews in habitat restoration tasks, including invasive species identification and control, native plant installation, and site preparation. Perform and oversee tree and shrub health care treatments, including soil amendments and systemic applications. Train and mentor entry-level crew members on equipment operation, safety, and treatment techniques. Ensure strict compliance with safety standards, pesticide regulations, and company procedures. Maintain accurate records of treatments, materials used, and project progress. Requirements
2+ years of habitat restoration, arboriculture, or plant/tree health care experience preferred. Prior leadership or crew lead experience strongly preferred. Valid state driver’s license required. Washington State Pesticide Applicator License required (or ability to obtain within 90 days). ISA Arborist Certification a plus, but not required. Skills & Abilities
Solid knowledge of invasive plant management, native plant establishment, and ecological restoration practices. Working knowledge of plant and tree health care, including soil amendments and systemic injections. Ability to lead and mentor crew members in the field with professionalism and strong communication. Safe and effective operation of field equipment. Work Environment
Primarily field-based, outdoors in diverse weather and site conditions. Total Rewards
