$19.00/hr - $22.00/hr Perform general administrative office work to support the Maintenance Department, including answering telephones, compiling work order requests, and maintaining files and logs.
Essential Job Functions
Russian, Cantonese or Mandarin speaking Preferred
Answer and document all pertinent call information. Ensure lines are kept open and available for resident requests. Accept incoming resident calls and complete computerized work orders Compile and dispatch work order requests to maintenance staff Edit and maintain work order files Responsible for the maintenance of multi-building access control, including residents, visitors, and contractors Train new and temporary staff on duties including answering telephones and entering work order requests in the computer Maintain the logs for pest control, fire and medical alarms, telephone, visitor and snow removal Provide administrative support for the Maintenance Director and the department Secure office and office equipment at the end of each day
Knowledge, Skills & Abilities
1-2 years of administrative experience, preferably in the field of maintenance General computer proficiency and experience with Microsoft Office Suite, Google WorkSpace Fluent in English. Fluency in Russian and Chinese is preferred

We anticipate continued growth in the size of our portfolio, the geography in which we operate, and the diversity of our residents in terms of race, ethnicity, income levels, and need for supportive services. For example, in 2025 we will add a new community, Opus Newton from 2Life Communities, that creates an exciting living option for middle-income seniors.
