To learn more about HCAI, visit: http://HCAI.ca.gov/ Job Description And Duties Hybrid Telework Opportunity The Staff Services Manager I (SSM I) will serve as the Unit Manager within the Behavioral Health and Policy Section and will be responsible for supervising staff and providing clear direction and guidance to ensure timely, consistent, and appropriate policy and program development, implementation, evaluation, and legislative initiatives. The SSM I will lead the development of program policies and procedures, establish program goals and objectives, monitor and evaluate program activities, and manage and prioritize the unit’s workload. Additionally, the SSM I will coordinate with the Research and Evaluation Section and the Grants Management Section to align efforts within the Office of Health Workforce Development (OHWD), with a primary focus on the BH-CONNECT Initiative and other strategies aimed at developing and sustaining California’s healthcare workforce. The SSM I may also represent OHWD on special task forces and at meetings with other government agencies and professional organizations.
