Job Description And Duties The Monitoring and Laboratory Division (MLD) is seeking an enthusiastic full‑time Associate Governmental Program Analyst (AGPA)/ Staff Services Analyst (SSA) to join the Monitoring and Laboratory Division’s Division Support Section (DSS). The DSS supports the California Air Resources Board's (CARB) programs by providing consolidated administrative support to MLD. The Section also maintains and supports the warehouse and shipping and receiving functions for the Division.
Under the supervision of the Staff Services Manager I, the AGPA/SSA serves as the Division's Health and Safety Liaison. The incumbent works close with the CARB Health and Safety Office to administrate the Division health and safety program including managing contracts and conducting monthly and quarterly safety inspection. The incumbent is responsible for tracking and coordinating required training, ensuring compliance with federal, State, and CARB requirements. The incumbent also provides backup support to other members of the Administrative Support Branch, as needed.
