Base pay range:

$140,000.00/yr - $150,000.00/yr

Position Summary:

Ambu is seeking a bold, strategic leader to own and accelerate growth in one of our most critical product lines. As downstream Market Manager for our Urology/Cystoscopy portfolio, you will be at the forefront of defending market leadership, responding to competitive pressure, and driving innovation in a must-win category. This is not a maintenance role - it’s a mission-critical opportunity to shape the future of a flagship business.

You’ll work closely with Sales, MarCom, HEOR & Market Access, and executive stakeholders to craft and execute high-impact strategies that deliver measurable results. Key Responsibilities & Core Competencies

Lead the strategic marketing plan for a high-priority product line under competitive pressure, specifically the Urology/Cystoscopy market

Develop and execute market defense strategies to protect and expand market share

Monitor and report portfolio performance across financials, KPIs, and competitive dynamics

Deliver strategic business reviews and insights to Director Marketing and key stakeholders

Identify portfolio gaps and collaborate with Global Product Management to shape future innovation

Lead market segmentation and targeting analysis to uncover growth opportunities, leveraging data-driven insights to inform product positioning, campaign development, and regional execution

Own brand positioning and ensure consistency across product design, messaging, and events

Develop and execute a unified messaging strategy that aligns with brand identity and resonates across all customer touchpoints

Lead the creation and deployment of targeted marketing campaigns – from concept to execution – designed to drive further awareness, engagement, and conversion in key market segment

Guide the development of sales enablement tools tailored to physicians, purchasing, and value analysis teams

Lead go-to-market strategies for new product launches, including pricing and positioning

Partner with Sales Management to validate and optimize marketing effectiveness

Collaborate closely with HEOR & Market Access team to support messaging development through clinical evidence generation, ensuring value-based positioning and alignment with reimbursement strategies

Build and leverage relationships with KOLs to drive deep market engagement and inform strategic direction

Design and deliver education programs for end users and sales team in collaboration with Clinical & Educational Trainer

Travel up to 40%

Qualifications & Experience

Bachelor's degree in marketing, business, or related field; MBA preferred

5-7 years of progressive experience in strategic marketing, ideally in medical devices or healthcare

Urology/endoscopy experience preferred, but not required

Experience leading strategic marketing plans and translating into execution

Strong analytical skills with demonstrated success in market segmentation and data-driven targeting

Track record of successful product launches, campaign development, and brand positioning

Proven ability to collaborate across functions including Sales, MarCom, HEOR & Market Access

Experience in supporting a direct salesforce

Comfortable engaging with KOLs and leveraging clinical insights for messaging

Strong initiative, multitasking ability, and relationship-building across organizational levels

Proficient in Microsoft Office, especially PowerPoint and Excel
