Product Manager, WSO - Data Distribution - S&P Global
Role overview: Product Manager for the Data Distribution/Reporting Team within the WSO Product Team, focusing on APIs and interfaces in the WSO Product Suite for syndicated and private credit systems. Responsibilities & Impact:
You will execute a vision that contributes to the business, work with modern technologies (cloud-based data platforms, ML/AI systems, automated workflows), and align with clients to deliver value from the WSO Product Suite data. Key responsibilities include: Client Alignment & Roadmap Ownership: Collaborate with clients to define a 6-12 month vision for data distribution based on client data insights and marketplace trends. Work Prioritization & User Story Review: Prioritize API-related features and ensure SDLC alignment with user needs, including testing and documentation. Agile Collaboration & Cross-Functional Support: Partner with Engineering, Testing, UX, Marketing, Implementation, and Sales to maximize API/Interface impact. Product Strategy & Execution: Define short- and long-term API strategies, research industry trends, document requirements and customer journeys. Stakeholder Management & Customer Insight: Maintain updated insights on market needs by analyzing customer activity and stakeholder relationships. Who you are: Proactive Contributor Quick Learner Great Communicator Creative Thinker Independent Thinker Enthusiastic Team Player Basic Qualifications: 5-10 years of total experience, with at least 4 years in product ownership or technical product management focusing on APIs and data interfaces. Experience driving product strategy and API requirements for syndicated/private credit systems. Experience with large datasets and relevant technologies. Proven ability to thrive in a fast-paced, client-facing environment. Familiarity with the WSO Product Suite. Knowledge of IBOR marketplace and related products (ABS, Bonds, CDS, Equities, Loans, TRS). 4-year bachelor’s degree.
