Join to apply for the Warehouse Specialist - 1st Shift role at BSN SPORTS, a Varsity Brands company. Work type: On Site | Location: 950 E. Avenue K, Grand Prairie, TX 75050. Work hours: Monday – Friday 4:00am – 12:30pm (OT as needed during peak season Jun-Dec). BSN SPORTS has been a leading distributor of team athletic gear for over 50 years. Our mission is to save coaches and administrators time with service platforms so they can impact young lives on the field. Responsibilities
Receiving and reviewing pick sheets, work orders, and other shipping documents to determine items to be picked and packed. Locating and retrieving items from designated storage areas within the warehouse using handheld devices or picking carts. Checking product quality and quantity to ensure they meet order specifications. Packaging, labeling, and preparing items for shipment, including accurately completing required shipping documentation. Maintaining accurate inventory records of items picked and packed and reporting discrepancies to the warehouse supervisor. Keeping a clean and organized work area to ensure safe and efficient operations. Operating warehouse equipment such as forklifts, pallet jacks, and hand trucks, and following all safety procedures. Communicating effectively with teammates and supervisors to ensure timely and accurate order fulfillment. Qualifications
Knowledge/Skills/Abilities
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet strict deadlines. Physical stamina with the ability to lift heavy items, stand for extended periods, and move around the warehouse. Ability to communicate effectively in spoken English. Participate in meetings and discussions requiring proficient spoken English skills. Ability to work seasonal mandatory overtime as needed. Must be able to pass a background check. Education/Experience
HS Diploma or GED (required) 1–2 years of experience in a warehouse or manufacturing setting (preferred) Proficiency with Microsoft Office, especially Excel Details-oriented, team-oriented, punctual with excellent attendance Physical Requirements
