Job Summary

Part of Kawneer’s Product Engineering Team across NPD and R&D, leading Engineering Data & Systems team including CAD/PDM, CPQ, PPM, and data analytics platforms. Oversees a cross-functional team responsible for engineering software maintenance, administration and support, vendor coordination, ERP integration, and process improvement. Partners with IT and business stakeholders to drive digital transformation initiatives and continuous improvement across the engineering value stream. Responsibilities

Leads a diverse team of engineers, analysts, and technical specialists. Mentors team members and fosters a high-performance culture. Owns engineering data governance and change management processes. Serves as primary liaison for CAE tool support and BIM conversion services. Maintains expertise in CAD/PDM and PLM technologies; acts as technical consultant. Manages the SaaS-based PPM platform to align with business priorities. Oversees ERP Product Data Management including updates and supports Sales/Finance with cost and pricing analytics. Collaborates across Engineering, Manufacturing, and IT to enhance system performance. Ensures data accuracy, security, and compliance with IT standards. Develops technology roadmaps to support strategic initiatives. Leads CPQ Analyst team and optimizes integration between CAD/PDM and CPQ systems. Builds dashboards and reporting tools using Microsoft 365. Drives root cause analysis and delivery performance improvements. Champions 3D technology adoption within engineering systems. Manages multiple CI initiatives using project management for best practices. Additional Qualifications

Leadership & Collaboration: Ability to lead cross-functional teams across multiple locations. Technical Expertise: Advanced knowledge of CAD/PDM systems, PLM integration, and Microsoft 365 tools. Process & Documentation: Deep understanding of engineering documentation standards and product data lifecycle. Analytical Skills: Strong data analysis capabilities; proficiency in Excel and other data analysis tools. Project Management: Proven ability to manage projects and lead small teams; self-starter. Qualifications

Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical/Industrial Engineering/Electrical/Systems Engineering from an accredited institution 5 years of relevant experience, including at least 3 years in PDM/PLM, Engineering, Design, or Product Development. Employees must be legally authorized to work in the United States. Verification of employment eligibility will be required at time of hire. Visa sponsorship is not available for this position.
