Installation Field Technician

Our customers include small to large corporations, institutions, government agencies and consumers across North America. Key Responsibilities
Installation and replacement of a variety of equipment ranging from used cooking oil tanks, overhead bike lifts, warehouse racking and more. Provide outstanding customer service. Unpacks, catalogs and confirms parts and pieces are accounted for. Installs new equipment in location designated by customer. Realigns and adjusts components such as spindles and clutches. Installs and repairs electronic components of machinery and equipment. Start machines and equipment to test operations following repair. Drills through concrete and building walls. Maintain record keeping and reporting of work orders, parts, supplies ordering, and following a daily agenda. Travel involving overnight lodging may be required. Handle company equipment (vehicle, tools, phone, tablet, credit card, and parts) responsibly and follow maintenance guidelines on company-provided vehicle. Performs additional duties as deem necessary by supervision. Qualifications
Education and/or Experience
High school diploma or general education degree (GED); good mechanical aptitude/skills. Self-starter with entrepreneurial spirit who operates within the customer’s business structure. Good driving record. Ability to read, write, and interpret safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals. Excellent time-management skills. Language Skills
Possesses excellent verbal and written communication skills with customers. Reasoning Ability
Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions and to handle problems involving several variables in standardized situations. Other Skills & Abilities
Detail oriented Excellent listener Skilled in the use of hand and mechanical tools Owns or can obtain basic standard and metric tools and equipment Quality – demonstrates accuracy and thoroughness; seeks to improve quality Safety and Security – follows safety procedures and reports unsafe conditions Dependability – excellent attendance; maintains valid driver’s license and safe driving skills Physical Demands
Occasionally required to drive long hours. Regularly sit, use hands, reach, stoop, kneel or crouch, speak and hear. Lift and/or move up to 50 pounds occasionally and up to 100 pounds frequently. Specific vision abilities include close, distance, peripheral and depth perception. Work Environment
