Overview
Installation and replacement of a variety of equipment ranging from used cooking oil tanks, overhead bike lifts, warehouse racking and more. Responsibilities
Provide outstanding CUSTOMER SERVICE. Unpack, catalog and confirm parts and pieces are accounted for. Install new equipment in location designated by customer. Realign and adjust components such as spindles and clutches. Install and repair electronic components of machinery or equipment. Start machines and equipment to test operations following repair. Drill through concrete and building walls. Maintain record keeping and reporting of work orders, parts, supplies ordering, and following a daily agenda. Travel involving overnight lodging may be required. Treat company equipment (e.g., vehicle, tools, phone, tablet, credit card, and parts) as if they were their own and follow maintenance guidelines on the company-provided vehicle. Perform additional duties, tasks, responsibilities, as a supervisor may deem necessary from time to time. Competencies, Skills, and Qualifications
Education and/or Experience:
High school diploma or GED; good mechanical aptitude/skills. Self-starter with entrepreneurial spirit who operates within the customer’s business structure. Good driving record. Ability to read, write, and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals. Excellent time-management skills. Language Skills:
Excellent verbal and written communication with customers. Reasoning Ability:
Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions in written, oral, or diagram form; ability to handle problems involving several variables in standardized situations. Other Skills & Abilities:
Detail oriented; excellent listener; skilled with hand and mechanical tools; owns or can obtain basic standard and metric tools; quality-focused; safety and security conscious; dependable with excellent attendance; valid driver’s license and safe driving skills; comply with state and federal regulations. Physical Demands:
Occasional long hours of driving; regular sitting, handling, reaching, stooping, kneeling or crouching; ability to lift 10–50 pounds regularly and up to 100 pounds frequently; vision requirements including close and distance vision. Work Environment:
Travel up to an average of 300 miles per day; exposure to moving mechanical parts, risk of electrical shock, fumes, and other potentially hazardous conditions. Miscellaneous:
Typical schedule Monday through Friday. Weekends and after-hours work possible with emergency rates; on-call status ends at 11 am EST on weekends and holidays. EEO/AA Statement
