Position Highlights Location: DEEP Marine Headquarters, 333 Ferry Road, Old Lyme, CT Part-time, seasonal work: 35 hours/week, from April to September 2025, totaling no more than 1040 hours Application Process Complete a Master Application and apply directly to this recruitment Ensure your application is complete before submission Regularly check your email for updates Job Description SRAs will be trained by biologists and may work independently to monitor fish passage at fishways, assist in fish transplantation, and perform data collection and analysis. Tasks include inspecting fishways, troubleshooting monitoring equipment, collecting biological samples, and performing facility maintenance. Qualifications Ability to follow instructions Knowledge of freshwater fish or related fields preferred Experience with GIS, boating, carpentry, and valid driver’s license advantageous Willingness to work outdoors in variable weather Additional Requirements First aid certification for supervisory roles Possession of necessary licenses or certifications as specified Physical Requirements Must possess adequate strength and stamina; lifeguarding skills required if applicable Note : The position is a limited duration, seasonal role, with employment from April to September 2025.
