As a Unit Manager/Director - RN, you will support the Director of Nursing within an assigned unit to deliver high quality care while achieving positive clinical outcomes and ensuring patient/resident, family and employee satisfaction. Lead, guide and direct the overall operations, coordination and direction of nursing and patient/resident care for an assigned nursing unit. Ensure patient/resident care delivery is consistent with the mission, vision, values and policies of Genesis HealthCare and in accordance with accepted standards of practice, state and federal regulations and licensing requirements. Collaborate with staff, physicians, rehabilitation therapy and other professionals to ensure the best possible outcomes for patients on the assigned nursing unit. Manage human resources in the unit, including reducing overtime and agency use, recruiting and orienting staff, assessing performance, and implementing disciplinary action when necessary. Qualifications
Must be a graduate of an accredited school of nursing, college or university. Current Registered Nurse licensure by the State Board of Nursing is required. Benefits
