The department is committed to excellence in physician leadership, research, education, and innovation, aiming to improve perioperative outcomes, establish leading practices in patient care, and contribute to the global field of anesthesiology. Position Responsibilities The successful candidate will conduct neuropsychological evaluations, provide education, and deliver interventions. They will be part of the perioperative team focused on improving brain health during the perioperative period and beyond. Particular interests include postoperative cognitive dysfunction and postoperative delirium, with efforts to establish a registry for these conditions. Responsibilities include working in preoperative clinics, intraoperative, and postoperative settings to perform screening, comprehensive diagnostic psycho-educational evaluations, and provide psychotherapy to patients and/or their families enrolled in clinical trials or requiring evaluations based on published guidelines. Qualifications Qualified candidates must be licensed clinical psychologists with experience in evaluating cognition and behavior, including learning and memory. An interest in the perioperative setting is essential. Experience in research data management and platform development is a plus.
