Develops and implements departmental plans, including performance improvement activities and compliance with current federal and/or state regulations. Prepares, conducts and/or oversees department orientation and training of personnel. Communicates with staff, physicians, and administration both in writing and verbally. Is responsible and accountable for the quality of staff and functions during their shift. Assists the Department Director in the daily operation of the unit, directing, supervising, and evaluating personnel, ensuring proper use of time, equipment, and staff. Ensure the efficient functions of the department. Performs direct patient care, within the scope of practice, as needed. Continually assess care and direct staff to make immediate changes in the plan of care. Qualifications
Minimum Requirements: Current and valid state RN License Current BLS (AHA) on hire and maintain current Current ACLS (AHA) within 30 days of hire and maintain current PALS within 30 days of hire for units that admit pediatric patients Preferred Qualifications: Bachelor Degree in Nursing (BSN) preferred. RN-C within 2 years of hire Pay and Benefits
Pay Range:
$51.84 to $71.46 per hour The exact starting compensation will be determined at the time of hire based on factors including skillset, experience, education, credentials, and licensure. This estimate includes wages, benefits, and other compensation. Employment Details
