Competitive compensation with a salary range of $51.84 to $71.46 for this role, which will be determined at the time of hiring based on skillset, experience, education, qualifications, and licensure.
Responsibilities The House Supervisor of the Behavioral Health Department is a Registered Nurse who has overall administrative responsibility for the management of all department service functions during their shift. The House Supervisor makes frequent rounds throughout the facility to monitor delivery of care, oversee quality of services, and direct patient care activities as required. Accountable to the Behavioral Health Director and CNO/DON, the House Supervisor directly supervises, provides support to, and communicates with all staff house‑wide. In the absence of Hospital Administrative staff, the scope and responsibility of the position extends to all services within the hospital, ensuring efficient operations and patient flow throughout. The House Supervisor performs direct patient care only as needed within scope of practice, ensures temporary agency personnel are deployed and oriented in compliance with hospital policy, assists medical staff with scheduling after‑hour procedures, and is on standby for call staff as necessary. They enhance the patient/family experience through supportive interactions and explanations of hospital policies.
Qualifications EDUCATION, EXPERIENCE, TRAINING
Current and valid license as a Registered Nurse.
Current BLS (AHA) certificate upon hire and maintained.
ACLS (AHA) certificate 30 days upon hire and maintained.
One (1) year of prior supervisory experience preferred.
Three (3) years of acute psychiatric care experience required; medical/surgical acute care experience additional, preferred.
Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) preferred.
