Expected pay for this position is $39.13 - $46.03/hour. Actual pay will be determined by experience, skills and internal equity. This is a Salaried position. Multiple Sign On Bonus Options: $5,000 - 1 year work commitment $10,000 - 2 year work commitment $20,000 - 3 year work commitment Location: In Vermillion County, OSF Sacred Heart Medical Center provides adult inpatient and outpatient services (with potential pediatric outpatient services). Our physical, occupational, and speech therapists evaluate and treat patients in the acute care and outpatient settings, offering orthopedic, neurologic, vestibular, and lymphedema care. OSF Rehabilitation supports professional development with paid continuing education, tuition reimbursement, and 401k with a 1:1 match on the first 5% of salary. OSF also participates in the Public Student Loan Forgiveness program. Position Summary: The Speech Therapist assists patients in the restoration or development of swallowing, speech and communication functions through evaluation and treatment. Responsibilities
As a Speech Language Pathologist, provide evaluation and treatment to support patients in developing or restoring swallowing, speech and communication abilities. Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to deliver care and support patient outcomes within hospital-based and outpatient settings. Qualifications
Required Qualifications Education Master\'s degree Licenses/Certifications Respective state temporary license with supervision of a Licensed Speech Pathologist for 18 months Respective state temporary license while completing Clinical Fellowship Year or state license and Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) by ASHA Other Skills/Knowledge Excellent interpersonal and communication skills Solid computer skills, including proficiency with Microsoft software Strong analytical and problem solving skills with attention to detail Preferred Qualifications Previous experience as Speech Pathologist Valid state driver\'s license, as verified through the state DMV Ability to administer and evaluate standardized speech/language tests, conduct swallowing evaluations, develop treatment plans and monitor progress OSF Healthcare is an Equal Opportunity Employer.
