Starting Bonus:

$7,500 Starting Bonus for eligible external talent Performs and assists with procedures in Cardiac Magnetic Resonance Imaging (MRI) scanning under the direction of the cardiologist, providing timely and quality services to patients. Follows Imaging Department policies to maintain a safe, efficient and economical environment. Interacts with patients to welcome, explain and respond to questions and concerns during and following the procedure. Patient age range of newborn to adult. Procedures include MRA, Cardiac Function, Morphology and Stress Imaging. High volume and high-quality standards. Current hours of operation of department are 7am-5pm. 1 year experience MRI preferred Registered Technologist - ARRT required in Magnetic Resonance Imaging (MRI) within 12 months after first shift working solo in modality Siemens Experience Preferred Cardiac MRI experience preferred 0.9 FTE (72 hours every two-week pay period) 8-hour, day / evening shifts No weekends Job Description

Performs diagnostic radiological imaging, in more than a single Modality, that may include CT, MRI, general radiology, Nuclear Medicine, Diagnostic Sonography, or Mammography depending on location of department. These procedures are performed as directed by providers or radiologist, delivering timely and quality service to the patient. Follows Imaging Department policies to maintain a safe, efficient and economical environment. Interacts with patients to welcome, explain and respond to questions and concerns during and following the procedure. Principle Responsibilities

Completes procedure in compliance with physician orders and department guidelines Identifies patient with two identifiers Documents accurately all needed aspects of the procedure Observes and communicates with patient, responding to needs Maintains safe patient environment in procedure area Performs procedures with high degree of accuracy Demonstrates appropriate knowledge of all diagnostic equipment Maintains work knowledge and competence Gathers all relevant information to assist in interpretation of images Verifies all imaging has appropriately transferred to imaging storage and retrieval system Provides accurate clerical function Uses Excellian (electronic medical record) Understands the Enterprise Medical Imaging/PACS Ensures all documentation is complete post procedure Communicates with supervisor and team Reports problems, issues or ideas Provides assistance, ideas and information to support the work of others Other duties as assigned Required Qualifications

Vocational or Technical Training graduate of an accredited School of Radiologic Technology Licenses/Certifications

The multi-modality role includes any combination of the following: Radiologic (XR), CT, MRI, Interventional Radiology (IR), Nuclear Medicine (NM), Mammography, or Ultrasound (US). See requirements below. If working in Radiologic, CT, MRI, or IR, the technologist must be Registered Technologist - ARRT (required upon hire) If working in NM, the technologist must be Registered Technologist - NMTCB (upon hire) If working in Mammography, ARRT registered, current Mammography certification upon hire If working in Ultrasound, Certified Ultrasound Technologist - ARDMS required; registered in abdomen and/or OB/GYN upon hire or RVT eligibility with registry within 180 days for hospital locations Must meet at least ONE of the following: Current BLS certification from the American Heart Association or American Red Cross, or Allina in-house BLS training during orientation Physical Demands

Medium Work: Lifting weight up to 32 lbs occasionally (Allina Safe Patient Moving Policy), up to 25 lbs frequently Pay Range

Pay Range: $40.36 to $56.72 per hour. The base pay reflects the range and starting rate depends on factors including experience, education, and union agreement. Shifts or other differentials may affect pay. Benefits
