This position is a clinician with advanced education and clinical practice. Under direct physician supervision, as required by the State Medical Board, this position provides primary health care and case management, focusing on disease prevention, wellness, and management of minor, chronic, and acute illness in collaboration with the PCPs. This position also works in close collaboration to establish realistic goals and a thorough plan of care. May manage patients by providing primary health care and case management, focusing on disease prevention, wellness, and management of minor, chronic, and acute illness. Provides holistic care and collaborates with clients and other interdisciplinary health care members to establish realistic goals and activities to guide both the client and the provider in implementing care. Job Requirements

Master\'s Degree (Required) Graduate from an accredited PA or NP program (Required) Internal/General Medicine, Cardiovascular Thoracic Disease Registered Nurse - COMPACT (Multi-State) RN - State Licensure and/or Compact State Licensure Upon Hire Required Physician Assistant PA - Upon Hire Required or Other APNG - Advanced Practice Nurse in Genetics Upon Hire Required Job Responsibilities

Makes recommendations for continued development of new and/or existing services within the program or department. Promotes and engages in projects to improve service delivery. Attends required and recommended meetings. Performs medical evaluations and initial and follow-up injury/illness care; orders and interprets laboratory tests; follows patient progress and adjusts treatment; applies local anesthetic; performs wound care, suturing, and drainage as delegated; documents findings clearly for supervising physician Reviews reports related to department operations; participates in Quality Assurance and leads quality of care initiatives Utilizes current TriHealth\'s Best Practices to develop plans, monitor progress, and measure outcomes for patients with chronic illnesses; coordinates with Attending Physicians and other Specialists; may develop educational programs Works with management and Collaborating Physician to ensure practice aligns with medical policy and participates in policy development and continuing education Working Conditions
