Assess patient/family health problems and resources, taking a leadership role in the development, implementation and outcomes evaluation of a plan for nursing care. Provide professional nursing care and interventions to acutely ill adult patient populations. Provide service to one or more age groups including young adults through geriatric patients, demonstrating understanding of the functional/developmental age of the individual served. Support the organization’s Mission and Core Values; participate in achieving hospital-wide performance improvement goals. Job Summary The RN assesses, plans, implements and evaluates nursing care to a designated group of healthcare consumers across the continuum, addressing spiritual, physiological, social and psychological aspects of care, prevention of disease or conservation of health. If offered a position, attendance at New Employee Orientation and Patient Orientation is required. New Employee Orientation is scheduled on Mondays; Patient Orientation typically Tuesday–Thursday; NEO is offered at St. Joseph’s every other Monday, except weeks with a National holiday. Note
May be required to float to SJHMC as well as SJWMC as needed. Job Requirements
Minimum
Education : Associate Degree in Nursing Experience : Bachelor’s Preferred; two (2) years of Nursing Experience in an Acute care facility; two (2) years of Nursing Experience in Specialty Licensure : RN AZ or Compact Certifications : American Heart Association BLS; American Heart Association ACLS Where You’ll Work
