Pediatric Urgent Care Nurse Practitioner - Springfield, NJ (Full-Time/Part-Time) PM Pediatrics is the largest pediatric urgent care network in the country. The role provides evaluation and evidence-based treatment to pediatric patients in an urgent care setting, with access to on-site x-ray and lab services, and opportunities for leadership, education, and research. Job Responsibilities

Assess and treat acute injury and illness for in-person and telemedicine patients, including febrile children, ENT infections, abdominal pain, anaphylaxis, respiratory distress, croup, and asthma. Perform procedural care such as abscess drainage, foreign body removal, and laceration repair (sutures, staples, or dermal adhesives). Take radiographs and provide preliminary interpretation (with official radiology over-reads where applicable; training provided). Oversee in-person and telemedicine patient flow and daily operations, including supervision of other providers, staff, and trainees on shift. Maintain operations by following policies, procedures, and reporting changes to management; collaborate with onsite and telemedicine teams to complete daily tasks (lab/radiology result review, patient follow-up, and timely responses). Protect patient confidentiality and comply with HIPAA regulations. Update knowledge and skills through internal training, continuing education, publications, and professional involvement. Address patient complaints and participate in service recovery as needed. Focus on efficiency metrics to improve urgent care flow, antibiotic stewardship, and patient experience. Qualifications

Pediatric experience required; pediatric ER/ICU/urgent care experience preferred. Comfortable with minor surgical procedures, including suturing. Master of Science in Nursing or Doctoral degree in Nursing, or a graduate of an accredited Physician Assistant program (as applicable). Licensed as a Registered Nurse and Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant in the state of application. Board certification by ANCC or NCCPA. Compensation
