Fusion Medical Staffing . Fusion Medical Staffing is seeking a skilled CT Tech for a 26-week travel assignment in Charleston, South Carolina. Operate CT equipment to produce cross-sectional images of bones, organs, and tissue for diagnostic purposes Prepare patients for procedures, explain imaging processes, and position patients appropriately Set appropriate technical parameters to accurately demonstrate anatomy and pathology Provide high-quality images to Radiologists for interpretation Adhere to radiation safety standards and hospital policies to ensure patient and staff safety Perform routine maintenance and troubleshooting of CT equipment to ensure proper functionality Document patient information, imaging parameters, and procedural details accurately in the hospital’s system Collaborate with radiologists, physicians, and other healthcare professionals to deliver timely diagnostic services Adapt to different CT equipment and protocols across various healthcare facilities Perform other duties as assigned within the scope of CT Tech practice Required Qualifications
One year of recent experience as a CT Technologist Valid Radiology license in compliance with state regulations Current BLS certification (AHA/ARC) Preferred Qualifications
Current ARRT Certification Other certifications and licenses may be required for this position Skills & Abilities
Critical thinking, service excellence, and strong interpersonal communication Proficient in reading, writing, and speaking English Ability to follow written and verbal instructions; proficient PC skills Physical ability to remain stationary, move equipment, push/pull, and bend Ability to work effectively with a variety of personnel and maintain a professional demeanor Technical/motor skills for handling procedures and equipment Ability to cope with workload, meet deadlines, and work under supervision when required Visual acuity and effective communication abilities Benefits
