Clinical Research Coordinator
University of Utah – Division of Urology, Department of Surgery (Urology).
Location: Salt Lake City, UT.
Pay Range: $39,300 to $72,700.

Job Overview The Division of Urology seeks a well‑organized team player to serve as a Clinical Research Coordinator, assisting with adult and pediatric urology clinical research programs. The role is 100% full‑time, with a hybrid work schedule possible.
Responsibilities
Assist operations of adult and pediatric urology clinical research programs.
Oversee research and administrative procedures, ensuring compliance with hospital, state, federal and regulatory policies, including patient consent.
Perform data acquisition and entry for prospective urology projects.
Help design, implement, and direct research projects.
Screen potential research participants, coordinate patient follow‑up, and obtain informed consent/assent.
Develop and implement research quality‑control procedures using case report forms and electronic databases.
Assist in creation, editing, and submission of IRB protocols.
Participate in grant submissions and reporting with investigators and clinical trials officers.
Minimum Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in a health sciences or related field (or equivalent). Two years professional research experience.
Completion of University RATS Clinical Certification within one year of hire.
Knowledge of Good Clinical Practices, FDA, HIPAA and IRB regulations.
Exceptional organizational, communication, analytical and interpersonal skills.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Proficiency in MS Office, Excel and electronic databases.
Preferred Qualifications
Nationally recognized research compliance certification.
Experience in nursing or related research background.
Physical Requirements Office environment with occasional repetitive hand motion, walking, standing, sitting. Near‑continuous hearing, listening, talking. Rare exposure to body fluids and cutting fluids.
